This award is given annually by OSSTF District 7 to the Grade 10 student in each Bluewater secondary school who best exemplifies the OSSTF motto “Let us not take thought for our separate interests, but let us help one another.”
All OSSTF members in each school (Education Support Professionals, Office Professionals & Technicians, and Teachers) must have the opportunity to participate in the process for nominating and voting for the recipient.
Each school is encouraged to work through the nominations and voting process during the spring, regardless of whether the school has a June Graduation or a fall Commencement ceremony.
Each school is reminded to contact Laura Wilson, District 7 Office Manager, with the name of the recipient by Friday, May 30, 2025 so that cheques can be written and mailed to the school. Laura can be reached at [email protected] or [email protected].
