ANNUAL MEETING OF THE PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY (AMPA)

What happens at AMPA

• Members make decisions: Delegates discuss and vote on important rules, policies and changes to the constitution
• Planning for the Year Ahead: Members review and approve the Strategic Action Plan which sets priorities for the upcoming year
• Elections: Every two years, members elect the Provincial Executive and representatives
• Budget Approval: Members review and approve the budget
• Connecting and Sharing: Education workers from across the province come together to talk about issues, share ideas and build solidarity
