COLLECTIVE BARGAINING

Email Communications regarding Bargaining

Locally,  the Teachers’ Bargaining Unit communicates about collective bargaining via email, sent to members’ personal, non-BWDSB email addresses. If you change your email address, or if you prefer to receive email from the TBU at a different address, please email bonnielynncameron@hotmail.com to update your email preferences.

Provincial communications about central negotiations will be distributed to local leaders to be sent out through bargaining units’ mailing lists.  In addition, provincial OSSTF will post their bargaining bulletins inside MyOSSTF, the members-only site inside www.osstf.on.ca . Members need their membership numbers (found on the back of your OSSTF membership card) and password.  If you require password assistance, you can call 1-800-267-7867.   Instructions for accessing MyOSSTF follow.

*What is the process of Central/Local Bargaining?

OSSTF/FEESO has created a short video series to educate members who are employees of a publicly–funded school board under the School Boards Collective Bargaining Act (SBCBA) about the bargaining process.
