HOW TO GET INVOLVED IN YOUR FEDERATION:
There are many ways to get involved in the Secondary Teachers’ Bargaining Unit.
There are many ways to get involved in the Secondary Teachers’ Bargaining Unit.
- Provide your email for our mailing list so that you receive our newsletters and bulletins.
- Come to branch meetings held at your school.
- Come to our Annual General Meeting.
- Participate in surveys and in-school votes, such as the collective bargaining survey, which gives members the opportunity to provide input into the bargaining unit’s negotiating priorities.
- Participate in parades, rallies, and marches with your union colleagues as we promote public education, support other labour unions, and stand up for workers’ rights in Ontario.
- Consider volunteering at the branch, bargaining unit, or district level. When positions become available, we will send an email to all members explaining the position(s) and how to apply or be nominated.
